Active Liking

As social media becomes a phenomenon, and the ability to share, comment and like content drastically expanding, consumers become more invested within social media.

Active consumers of social media has become a key part of the world in which we live in today, with social media acting as a tool for news sharing. This is put extremely well by Axel Bruns. Rather then there being set individuals ready for the cause of the particular social media phenomenon, there is a whole community of participants who are actively sharing the set media. This meme shows a persons reaction to sharing content.

The constant sharing of content leads to a faster transition of feedback, and allows for the creator of that content to continue to ideate and further their ideas into reality.

Ultimately, being produsers of media isn’t that bad! It shows a care in ones work and makes that person continue to work on it as there is a constant feedback loop and an active community of participants.
